Reclaimed an old above-ground pool area by regrading the flat base and reshaping the hillside — redistributing existing material on-site to create a smooth, natural slope that flows right into the surrounding lawn.

For this project in Spencer, we reclaimed an old above-ground pool area and blended it back into the surrounding yard. The existing flat pool base was regraded and the material was redistributed to reshape the hillside, creating a smooth, gradual slope that flows naturally into the surrounding lawn.
No additional fill was needed — we were able to reshape and reuse the existing material on site to create the new slope. The area was then finish graded and compacted, turning the former pool area into a much more usable section of the yard. The homeowner will be handling the final loam and grass installation.
