Project Overview
This Charlton property needed a proper outdoor living space — and a clear, finished path to get there. We started from scratch, excavating the areas for both the patio and the connecting walkway down to a solid sub-base before bringing any material in.
A compacted gravel base was installed beneath both surfaces to ensure long-term stability and proper drainage. Getting the base right is the most important part of any patio or walkway — it's what prevents settling, shifting, and cracking down the road.
With the base set, we laid the patio surface and walkway course by course, keeping everything level and true from start to finish. The result is a clean, durable outdoor space that connects the property the way it should.
The finished project gave this Charlton homeowner a functional patio and a defined path — built to hold up through central Massachusetts winters without any movement.
